Great Read-aloud Picture Book
Good, suspenseful story with emotional ups and downs. The main character is realistic, believable and funny. We look forward to purchasing some other books in the series.

A tale of surprise and emotion!
For those not sure their kids should read about a character getting accidentally taken by a stranger, let me tell you: this book handles it very responsibly. The writing makes it real but not overwhelmingly scary, adding enough humor to ease any fears, and the illustrations help tremendously to endear readers to all the rabbits caught up in this unfortunate mistake. Well worth reading!

Good message. Well written. Expertly illustrated.
We like the book very much, especially the beautiful two page illustration where readers can help search for Zozo’s family. Though the book is about the pet being accidentally taken, my kids were not scared in the least. The writing makes it make sense that it was a totally understandable mistake. Then the story ended up teaching a good lesson about staying calm and asking for help when bad things happen. We all really liked the book, the illustrations, and the overall message.

Difficult Topic, Great Story
Our son got lost in a water park this summer. It was a scary time for him, so we appreciate how the Zozo and the Giant Rabbit book presents this type of unfortunate situation in a thoughtful way. The author adds humor and a sense of calm to an experience that does happen to kids. We need more books on this subject matter written with the care that this author writes.

All’s Well that Ends Well
What a great story and a great lesson for teaching children about asking for help when they get separated from their families. The author injected humor and the little background characters like the swimming frogs and squirrels kept the pages feeling fun.

Heartwarming Happy Ending
I always worry about reading a story aloud to young people about a character getting taken or getting lost but the illustrations in this Zozo book help to diffuse the situation very well. I love the message of staying positive and asking for help. It’s a great book to read to children. I highly recommend it.
