Got my wiggly kiddo to sit still while doing his bedtime routine. Lots of fun characters on all the pages and it has a wonderful message about events like storms bringing destruction also leading to good things like fresh water for the flowers to bloom. Loved this book.

Highly recommended for a children's book collection – good for 3-6 yr olds
This story is on the longer end of a 3 year old’s attention span. It was not necessarily designed for readers as young as my son, but makes for a great story to stop as we go, pointing out the funny starfish and crabs. I shorten the text to keep it moving for him. My daughter can read it herself, at age 6, and she then googles answers to all the questions the book makes her ask and is learning more about the Sargasso Sea, hurricanes, which fish sleep, etc. Highly recommended for a children's book collection because it’s good for a number of different ages.
